The brand's About page says RIOTDIVISION was founded in 2010 in Kyiv and names Oleg Moroz as the founder, who says he has been fond of clothes since childhood. Kaltblut describes Moroz as founder and chief designer and, in an article published on 14 April 2022, said he was serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Kyiv Independent says Moroz started the brand as an online store in 2010.

We could not find an opened source that states who owns the company or whether it has outside investors.

Kaltblut says the label evolved from a mono-product brand of balaclava hoodies, has been presented globally since 2017, and launched a womenswear line and opened a Kyiv flagship store in 2019. Kyiv Independent describes agile tech-wear clothing like balaclavas and combat style cargo pants, and a line of tech-wear suits with a water repellent coating.

The brand's site groups its range into outerwear, tops, bottoms, accessories and a women's collection. Kaltblut quotes the brand's self-description as Modularity, Adaptation, Symbiosis, Singularity and Curiosity, and says durability is tested through crash tests. On the About page Moroz writes that his passion for Japan, its culture, language and customs will permeate the brand's collections.

Kaltblut lists showcases at SEEK Berlin, at Pitti Uomo in Florence in 2019 and at the Cube showroom in Paris in 2019. The brand's site lists collaborations named RD x SOFUA and RD x LUBART, with no dates or details.

Kyiv Independent says staff donated stock clothing to the military in the early days of Russia's full-scale invasion, and that soldiers get 50% off at the store.

The brand's site links to a Concept Store page and a Stockists page. Kyiv Independent says it has a flagship store on Reitarska Street in Kyiv.

We could not confirm prices on the brand's own site. The retailer mojave.group listed, in Ukrainian hryvnia and with no year shown when we checked in October 2026, the NOBODY hoodie at ₴6,500, the Trident and 4308 Steel T-shirts at ₴2,500 each and the Lightweight Urban Bag Modified at ₴3,500. It also listed the Triangle Bomber Gen.2 jacket at a sale price of ₴5,340, down from ₴8,900, and the 2 Pockets Pants Gen.3 (SS24) at a sale price of ₴6,000, down from ₴7,500. Sale prices are not regular prices, and we have no like-for-like price in dollars.
