Who founded Thug Club
HBX describes Yeong Min Cho, known as Thug Min, as the label's brainchild and as its "co-founder and face". He studied fashion design in Seoul and built his social media presence primarily through Facebook and YouTube, according to HBX.
Sources differ on designer Jiyool Kwon. HBX's brand page says the label was established by designers Min and Kwon, and a Complex interview calls Kwon the founder. END. says Min started the brand in 2018 and appointed Kwon as design director in 2021. END. also says that by 2025 Min had stepped back from his representative role.
What Thug Club makes
HBX's 2023 guide lists boxers, hoodies, T-shirts, caps, a down jacket and denim, including leather-washed denim pants and double-knee denim shorts. It says the brand's slogan boxers went viral in 2021 and helped build its profile.
HBX's 2024 spotlight points to studs, which it compares to medieval armour, tassels and hardware such as zip pulls, and notes that a Thug Club symbol appears on each collection.
The look
Highxtar says the label draws direct inspiration from the hip-hop and biker culture of Itaewon. Sneaker Freaker describes punk-tinged, horror-inspired black leather and metal detailing, and Complex says its pieces take inspiration from military wear and workwear, with a punk twist.
Collaborations
Highxtar reported an eight-piece capsule with Diesel on 2 October 2025, presented as the first collaboration between the two. Highsnobiety covered a Korea-exclusive Thug Club x adidas Adiclog priced at ₩349,000.
Where to buy Thug Club and what it costs
The flagship store, TC Castle, opened on Gyeongnidan-gil in Itaewon, Seoul, in July 2023, and HBX has run installations at HBX Hong Kong and HBX New York.
END. (US) listed the Two Face Dirt hoodie at $355, Skull Stitch ripped denim pants at $679 and the Jamong two-tone washed MA-1 jacket at $885; END. (UK) listed the same jacket at £675; the two listings are in different currencies, so they are not a like-for-like comparison. Complex's shop listed a Thug Club x Young Thug tee at $130.
