Who founded We11done

Club21 says We11done was founded in 2015 in Seoul and lists Dami Kwon and Jessica Jung among its founders. Hypebeast's January 2023 interview describes Kwon and Jung as friends and business partners, and says Jung handles design while Kwon handles internal matters.

Hypebeast says the pair opened the concept store Rare Market in 2014, and that the store was paused while they focus on We11done. W Magazine described Rare Market in 2016 as located in Seoul's Gangnam District, and said the We11done name stands for well done, well made, with the 11 referring to the shop's 11 team members.

Who owns We11done

Jiemian, a Chinese outlet, reported that Sequoia China announced through its WeChat account that it had acquired a majority stake in We11done, without disclosing the deal amount; the article gives the date as 13 January but no year. Citing Pulse News Korea and anonymous sources, Jiemian also reported a price of 100 billion won (about $84 million) for more than 60 percent of the company. We found no company statement confirming those figures.

Jiemian said Jung and Kwon were expected to keep about 30 percent after the deal. The Korean official site's footer lists the operating company as Rare Market Co., Ltd., with Kwon Dami as representative.

What We11done makes

Club21 describes We11done as known for bold proportions, relaxed fits and vibrant graphics, with a contemporary streetwear aesthetic drawing on late-1990s and early-2000s youth culture, presented as unisex. Hypebeast describes a blend of modern streetwear and elegant tailoring with oversized silhouettes, and links the Spring/Summer 2023 Rough Strokes collection to Manet's Le Dejeuner sur l'herbe, along with punk and 19th-century romanticism.

The official site's menus list ready to wear (outerwear, knitwear, dresses, denim), shoes, bags, jewelry and accessories, and name collections including Pearl Capsule Collection, Seoul Edition and We11done x Templa. W Magazine reported that the debut lookbook featured Man Repeller's Leandra Medine.

Where to buy We11done and what it costs

The official site sells online with a cart and checkout, in English and Korean. Retailers including Club21 and Marais carry the label.

Marais, an Australian retailer, listed a Classic Front Logo T-shirt in black at AUD 325 with no sale marker. It listed a Washed Nylon Bomber at AUD 700, reduced 50 percent from AUD 1,400. The page does not date these listings, which we checked in October 2026, and they are one retailer's prices rather than the brand's.
