CLOT

HBX says CLOT was established in 2003 by co-founder Edison Chen and Kevin Poon, and Hypebeast's brand page lists the same founders, a 2003 founding date and Hong Kong headquarters. adidas Originals calls CLOT a pioneering streetwear label and the brainchild of Edison Chen.

In a Highsnobiety interview, Chen said that after his management company sold him to another management company he went to Japan and started CLOT. In a 2012 Hypebeast Trade interview, Poon said he was always hanging out with Chen and that they started thinking about what they could do. We found no source that says who owns CLOT today or how ownership is split.

Poon said in the 2012 interview that the group visited Tokyo, met brands including Bathing Ape and NEIGHBORHOOD, and then had the idea to open a store, and describes it as in an obscure location on the second floor of a Causeway Bay building. Hypebeast's brand page says that in 2006 Poon and Chen helped bring Kanye West to Hong Kong, with the label sponsoring the Asian leg of his Touch the Sky tour.

adidas Originals' page, which is promotional, says Chen's aesthetic seamlessly marries Chinese traditional motifs with contemporary streetwear. Mixmag Asia reported on 8 May 2020 that CLOT's youth-oriented sub-label CLOTTEE released a dim sum-inspired collection, making images of steamed buns, phoenixes and dragons fresh again, and ties the dragon and phoenix motifs to bliss and prosperity.

HBX says CLOT has worked with collaborators including Disney, Nike and adidas, without giving dates. adidas Originals' page lists CLOT by Edison Chen releases by headline, including the Mundial Collection, a CLOT Superstar colourway, a Chinese New Year 2026 horse-themed release, a three-way release with BAPE and a Taekwondo collaboration designed by Caroline Hu.

Juice Store sells CLOT online, with prices in Hong Kong dollars. HBX describes JUICE as a retail outlet with branches in Hong Kong, Taipei, Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur (spelled "Lampur" on its page).

Juice Store listed the CLOT World T-Shirt (Charcoal) and Wreath T-Shirt (Grey) at HK$480, the Balaclava Zip Hoodie at HK$1,680 and 2003 CLOT Logo Socks at HK$270. It showed the Patch Logo Cap at HK$336, down from HK$480, and the Embroidery Cargo Shorts at HK$826, down from HK$1,180; those are sale prices. The page showed no date when we checked it in October 2026. We found no jeans or jacket price.
