Who founded Cold Culture and where it is based
D5 Magazine and FashionUnited both say Cold Culture was founded in Madrid in 2021 by Andrés Varela and Martina Merry. FashionUnited's May 2026 article writes the second founder's name as Martina Merry-del Val and describes the brand as digital-native when it began. A Czech article on cc.cz says the founders were still studying business management when they started and invested three thousand euros when they started.
Retail Destination, in an article dated 12 December 2024, described the brand as a Spanish streetwear label whose stated goal is to become a global streetwear brand.
Who runs and owns Cold Culture
Retail Destination described Andrés Varela as chief executive officer of Cold Culture in December 2024, when it reported the appointment of Newmark as exclusive adviser for the brand's expansion. No source we opened states who owns the company or lists its shareholders. FashionUnited estimated 2025 sales at 25 to 30 million euros and noted that the company has not published official figures; D5 Magazine said the brand passed 25 million euros in revenue in 2024.
The Cold Culture logo
We found no source that explains the Cold Culture logo or its meaning. Neo2 notes a red facade on the brand's new Madrid store.
What Cold Culture makes
Neo2 describes the brand's aesthetic as oversize silhouettes with urban influences and its latest collection as Cold Gym. It lists logo and graphic sweatshirts, relaxed-fit trousers, basic T-shirts, jackets and technical urban pieces, plus accessories such as beanies, a leather belt and a star necklace.
FashionUnited says the brand began with a genderless approach before launching its first women's collection, Taxi Driver, in June 2024.
Collaborations
Ford announced a collaboration with Cold Culture on 23 February 2024, inspired by racetrack curves and wheel design, including a Ford Trench Jacket and a Ford High Neck Zip in a metallic fabric. Kappa released an apparel collaboration inspired by motoball; its page gives no launch date, piece count or price.
Where to buy Cold Culture
Cold Culture sells online with worldwide shipping. The coldculture.com domain is not the brand: when we checked it described a Thai gelato producer. Its product data is served from coldcultureworldwide.com.
FashionUnited says the first Cold Culture store opened in November 2023 at Calle de Colón 4, Madrid, and the first store abroad opened in Amsterdam in December 2024. It counted seven physical stores at the end of 2025 and says a menswear store opened at Calle de Fuencarral 41, Madrid, in April 2026. Neo2 also reports a new Madrid store on Fuencarral open from 10 April 2026. Another FashionUnited article describes a first permanent Milan store at Corso di Porta Ticinese 75 as opening on 24 April; the two FashionUnited articles do not agree on the store list, so we have not listed cities beyond Madrid and Amsterdam. FashionUnited describes an internal Cold Tour strategy of staggered openings across European cities.
Cold Culture prices
The store's product data (checked October 2026) lists plain numbers without a currency code, and we could not confirm the currency from a page that prints it; they are probably euros. In that data, hoodies such as the Down To Luck Hoodie and the Astro Hoodie were 79.00, the Script Zip Hoodie 85.00, the Speed Spoke Tee and Curved Tee 45.00, the Script Longsleeve Tee 55.00, the Cloud Armor Puffer 129.00 and the Everyday Puffer 139.00. Casino Pants in black denim were 79.00, the Spikes Belt 59.00, the Skankin Necklace 79.00 and the Bramble Beanie 29.00. None showed a compare-at price.
A Czech article on cc.cz gave approximate prices of around 1,000 CZK for a T-shirt and around 2,000 CZK for a sweatshirt, without a date. Those are in a different currency and are not a like-for-like comparison with the store data.
