Kith

Wikipedia says Kith was established in New York City in 2011, and that on 11 November 2011 Ronnie Fieg opened an apparel and footwear boutique called Kith NYC. It says the name derives from the phrase "kith and kin". Wikipedia's article on Fieg describes him as the founder, chief executive officer and creative director of Kith.

That article says Fieg was born in 1982, lists Jamaica, Queens as his birthplace in its infobox and gives his birth name as Aaron Fieg. It says he began as a stock boy and salesman at 13 for David Z, his uncle's footwear chain, and later became a manager and head buyer there. In November 2022 he was named the New York Knicks' first creative director, according to the same article.

On who owns Kith, Wikipedia lists the company as private and gives no further ownership or investor detail. We found no reliable source naming investors, so the sources we opened do not support a statement beyond Fieg's role as founder and CEO.

Wikipedia says Kith began as a footwear retailer and later expanded into streetwear, fashion and lifestyle. Kith's own site navigation lists Kith Women, Kith Kids, Kith Baby and Kith Ivy, with links to retail and Treats locations.

Wikipedia says Kith Treats is a cereal bar offering 23 cereal varieties and ice cream, and that Kith Ivy is a private members' club in the West Village, Manhattan. It also dates Kith's first women's retail location, in Manhattan, to December 2015, and says Emily Oberg was hired as creative lead of the women's line in February 2017.

The sources differ on the first location. Highsnobiety's Fieg timeline lists 2011 as the year he opened the first Kith stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn, carrying brands such as Adidas, Puma, New Balance and Timberland. Wikipedia's article on Fieg says the first location was in Brooklyn, followed by one in Manhattan.

Highsnobiety's timeline lists the Kith Miami flagship in 2016, a Los Angeles store in 2018, and a shop plus Kith Treats in Selfridges, London, in 2019, which it presents as the first Kith location outside the US. Wikipedia lists store-within-a-store placements at Bergdorf Goodman, Hirshleifers and Selfridges.

Store counts also differ inside Wikipedia's Kith article: the infobox lists 17 locations, the body says Kith operates twelve locations worldwide, and the history section says twelve as of October 2022. The article does not reconcile the figures, and we did not find a current count in an opened source.

Wikipedia lists a six-month Nike co-branded pop-up shop that opened in July 2016, a Versace partnership in 2019, and the August 2015 renovation of the Brooklyn store by Daniel Arsham and Alex Mustonen of Snarkitecture, which included 750 cast white Air Jordan 2s. Highsnobiety's timeline places a Versace collaboration in 2018 instead, so the year differs by source.

Highsnobiety reported that Fieg revealed the Versace collection on Instagram on the eve of Kith's third annual fashion show, and quoted Fieg's Instagram caption calling it "a very important notch in our timeline". The article does not give a launch date or piece count.

Wikipedia also dates a TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch set and a Giorgio Armani men's suiting capsule to 2024, and lists limited-edition BMW M4 and i4 cars without a date. It says Kith plans a runway show called Institution on 17 August 2025, which it calls the first Kith fashion show since 2019. We did not check these against a second source, or confirm that the 2025 show took place.

Kith's site navigation shows Shop All, Sale and a country selector listing Kith.com, Kith Canada, Kith Europe, Kith Japan and Kith UK. No page we opened states the online model directly, so the online store is inferred from that navigation.

We did not find current prices on kith.com. The figures below are older or come from StockX, where the page labels the amount a retail price. They are different items and dates, so they are not a like-for-like guide.

StockX shows a retail price of US$75 for the Kith Classic Logo long-sleeve tee in heather grey, released on 5 November 2018, and US$175 for the Classic Logo Nelson Hoodie in Nocturnal, released on 1 December 2025. A 2015 Kith post priced a US pocket tee at $48, a Classics short-sleeve frayed hoody at $125 and a Frayed Bleecker short at $84, all in USD.

For collaborations, StockX lists a retail price of US$695 for the Kith x BMW wool coaches jacket, released 6 December 2024, and $200 for the New Balance 2011 Kith in Leaf Green, released 29 June 2026, with the dollar currency inferred from the page.
