Brands like Kith: 8 alternatives, from closest to most different
The closest matches to Kith, in our view, are Aimé Leon Dore, Noah and Alife: all three are New York labels, though Alife's Rivington Club store closed in 2021. Aimé Leon Dore is the only one with a documented link to Kith, a 2015 collection sold at Kith stores and online. For a brand that also grew out of retail, look at Norse Projects, which Wikipedia says began as a retail streetwear shop and art gallery. For plain premium basics, look at FEAR OF GOD ESSENTIALS or Represent.
Kith was founded in New York City in 2011 by Ronnie Fieg, who Wikipedia lists as founder and CEO. Wikipedia says it began as a footwear retailer and later expanded into streetwear, fashion and lifestyle. So we've picked brands by what you may mean by 'like Kith': the New York look, the retailer-plus-label model, or the collaborations.

What 'like Kith' usually means
In our view, people looking for alternatives usually want one of three things: the look (clean, sportswear-led basics), the model (a store and a label under one name, with a steady run of collaborations), or the city (New York, with a downtown or Queens reference point).
Kith started as a footwear retailer and expanded into streetwear, fashion and lifestyle, including a cereal bar called Kith Treats and a private members' club called Kith Ivy. Highsnobiety's Ronnie Fieg timeline says Fieg opened the first Kith stores in 2011, carrying brands such as Adidas, Puma, New Balance and Timberland. Its collaboration list is long, including a Versace partnership and an Armani suiting capsule dated 2024 by Wikipedia.
We did not find current prices on kith.com. The figures we did find are StockX retail-price fields: US$75 for a Classic Logo long-sleeve tee (released November 2018) and US$175 for the Classic Logo Nelson Hoodie (released December 2025). Those are the anchors we use below, and where a pick's price is in another currency, has no printed currency, or is for a different item, we say there is no like-for-like price.

#1 · $$–$$$$
The closest match in our view, and the only pick with a documented Kith link. Teddy Santis founded Aimé Leon Dore in 2014, and Highsnobiety describes a mix of classic menswear and streetwear with an urban preppy character. Kith released the KITH x Aimé Leon Dore Chapter 1 collection on 9 January 2015, ten pieces in black and oxblood with a vintage boxing theme, and Kith's own copy calls Ronnie Fieg and Teddy Santis friends and co-founders who were both raised in Queens.
What it shares
- A New York base: Wikipedia lists the headquarters as Queens
- A shop with a food concept: Aimé Leon Dore moved to a larger Mulberry Street store in 2019 with Café Leon Dore, a coffee shop; Kith has Kith Treats, a cereal bar
- New Balance collaborations: the 997, 990v2, 990v5 and 827, and the New Balance 2011 Kith
- Complex described the 2015 collection as continuing Aimé Leon Dore's cozy boy basics with an elevated sportswear element added by Kith, and did not compare the two brands directly
Where it differs
- LVMH Luxury Ventures took a minority stake in January 2022, terms undisclosed; Wikipedia lists Kith as private and the sources we opened name no investors
- Aimé Leon Dore opened its first physical store in 2016 on Mott Street; Kith's first boutique opened on 11 November 2011
- Cassius's article on the Fall/Winter 2021 collection cites Greek references and New York Yankees and Mets logos

A New York label from Brendon Babenzien and Estelle Bailey-Babenzien, whose About page describes merging skate, surf and music culture with classic menswear. a Highsnobiety guide describes understated staples with prep, military and nautical influences. A note on dupes and replicas
We don't list replicas or sellers of them. We found no source in our research on counterfeit Kith, or on authentication services for it.
What the sources do show is where Kith sells: its own site, with country sites for Canada, Europe, Japan and the UK, its stores, and store-within-a-store placements at Bergdorf Goodman, Hirshleifers and Selfridges. A genuine alternative is a different brand with its own designs; the brands above are chosen on that basis.
Frequently asked questions
What are the best brands like Kith?
In our assessment, Aimé Leon Dore, Noah and Alife come closest, because all three are New York labels (Aimé Leon Dore and Noah have flagship stores; Alife's Rivington Club store closed in 2021). Aimé Leon Dore is the only one with a documented link to Kith, a 2015 collection. Norse Projects shares the retailer-turned-label path.
Are there cheaper brands like Kith?
We can't say firmly. The only Kith prices we found are StockX retail-price fields, US$75 for a 2018 long-sleeve tee and US$175 for a December 2025 hoodie, and the picks above are priced in other currencies, with no printed currency, or on other item types. As a rough signal, the directory's own price tiers are shown in the table.
Is Kith a brand or a store?
Both. Wikipedia says Kith began as a footwear retailer and later expanded into streetwear, fashion and lifestyle, and Highsnobiety's timeline says the first stores carried brands such as Adidas, Puma, New Balance and Timberland.
Who owns Kith?
Wikipedia lists Kith as a private company and Ronnie Fieg as founder and CEO, with no further ownership or investor detail. We found no reliable source naming investors.
What is the closest brand to Kith for sneaker culture?
Alife has a long list of sneaker collaborations, though its Rivington Club store closed in 2021. Norse Projects has also worked with adidas and New Balance.
Did Kith work with Aimé Leon Dore?
Yes. Kith released the KITH x Aimé Leon Dore Chapter 1 collection on 9 January 2015, ten pieces sold at Kith stores and online.
How we chose these brands
We started from the directory's brands and used its draft style taxonomy to shortlist candidates with a similar look, product mix and price tier, then chose eight on our own judgement of look, model and collaborations. Facts such as founding, ownership, collaborations and prices come from the numbered sources below, each opened and checked on 9 October 2026. Rankings, 'what it shares' and 'best for' are our editorial judgement: we found no reputable source that compares most of these brands to Kith directly. Price comparisons are like for like only where the item, currency and date are comparable; otherwise we say so. Prices are single snapshots from retailers and brand sites and will change.
