Brands like Lost Files: 7 alternatives, from hometown-pride labels to London drops
The closest matches to Lost Files, in our view, are Born x Raised, Staple and PLACES+FACES. Born x Raised's own site lists NFL team collaborations such as a 49ers crest tee, Staple's about page says it was born from the streets of New York, and PLACES+FACES's store lists an ARSENAL x P+F section. Those are the three that tie a small streetwear label to a place or a team, which is how Milwaukee Bucks Pro Shop and the Milwaukee Brewers have worked with Lost Files. No reputable source we found compares these brands to Lost Files directly, so the ranking is our judgement.
Lost Files is a Milwaukee label that Complex says was founded in March 2021 by Estevan Longoria. A Brewers press release describes it as based out of Franksville, Wisconsin. Prices are the weak spot for any comparison: the Lost Files prices we use are sale prices on lostfiles.clothing, shown with a compare-at figure and a plain dollar sign (some other items show no compare-at figure), so we make no cheaper-or-dearer claim for any pick.

What 'like Lost Files' usually means
In our view, people searching for alternatives usually want one of three things: playful graphic basics (tees, hoodies, caps), a label with a hometown or Midwest identity, or low-priced pieces from an independent brand.
Complex Shop says Lost Files blends bold design with storytelling, with Midwest-inspired aesthetics, playful prints and nostalgic motifs. Longoria told Spectrum News that the brand digs into its Midwestern roots for its art concepts. The Milwaukee Bucks Pro Shop announced a Bucks In Six collection with Lost Files, scheduled to launch on 5 December 2025 and sold exclusively at the Bucks Pro Shop at Fiserv Forum and online.
On lostfiles.clothing in October 2026, the Blue Ringer Tee was $38 sale (compare-at $44), the Vintage Washed Cardinal Zip-Up Hoodie $84 sale (compare-at $94) and the Red Scout Jacket $78 sale (compare-at $138). The page does not name a currency. We call a pick cheaper only where it lists a comparable item at the same kind of price (regular against regular) in the same currency; otherwise we say 'no like-for-like price' and show its own prices instead.

Hypebeast says Alife was founded in 1999 in New York by four friends, and Interview said in 2019 that Rob Cristofaro was the only founder still with the brand. Thin data: we found no apparel price at the brand's own store, which listed only sold-out sneakers.
What it shares
- A scene-led New York label: Interview ties its look to Lower East Side skate, graffiti and hip-hop culture, and Complex Shop ties Lost Files to Midwest-inspired aesthetics
- Sportswear partners: Hypebeast lists collaborations with Nike, Reebok, adidas and New Balance among others; Complex reported a 2013 holiday collection with Cope2 that included tees and a crewneck
Where it differs
- The Alife Rivington Club at 158 Rivington Street closed on 1 April 2021

- Price vs Lost Files
- No like-for-like price. The official store listed the Graffitio Sneakers at $2,000 USD, sold out, and HBX listed a Heather Grey Core Hoodie at £40 sale, listed at £65, also sold out. We found no Alife tee or other item that matches Lost Files' items.

A note on dupes and replicas
We don't list replicas or sellers of Lost Files look-alikes. In our research we found no source describing counterfeit Lost Files or how common it is, so we make no claim about that. The brand's own store is lostfiles.clothing.
If you want the Midwest-print look without Lost Files, a genuine alternative is a different brand with its own designs; the picks above were chosen on that basis.
