Brands like Chrome Hearts: 10 alternatives, from cheaper to closest
The closest streetwear matches to Chrome Hearts, in our view, are NEIGHBORHOOD, Mastermind Japan, Number (N)ine and WACKO MARIA. NEIGHBORHOOD and Mastermind Japan draw on biker and skull imagery, WACKO MARIA on rock and roll, and Number (N)ine on rock and goth reference points. For the same mood at a much lower price, start with NEIGHBORHOOD, Hellstar or Pleasures. For the actual silver and leather, independent makers are a better fit than any clothing brand.
Chrome Hearts makes silver, gold and diamond accessories, leather goods, clothing and furniture mostly in Hollywood and its eyewear mainly in Japan, and sells in small quantities. So we've split the picks by what you're actually after.

What 'like Chrome Hearts' usually means
People looking for alternatives tend to want one of three things: the look (dark, rock-and-roll, biker-adjacent clothing and graphics), the craft (heavy sterling silver, leather and hand finishing), or the scarcity (something hard to get that carries status). Most brands deliver one of these. Few deliver two.
Chrome Hearts itself is built on silver, gold and diamond accessories, with leather goods, clothing, eyewear and furniture around them. Most of it is made in Hollywood, with eyewear mainly made in Japan, and sold through its own boutiques, a short list of authorized retailers and limited online drops. A '1988' hoodie was $550 on pre-order on its web store in April 2024, and press has cited $1,750 for denim with leather crosses in 2020.
Clothing brands can match the look, and some can close the price gap. If you want the silver itself, skip to the independent makers below.

The closest match that costs far less. It draws on elements of American military, biker and rock-and-roll culture, with a blacked-out, skull-adorned look, and founder Shinsuke Takizawa, a motorcycle enthusiast, started it to fill a gap in technical motorcycle apparel.
What it shares
- Biker and rock-and-roll roots, with skull motifs recurring
- Has made silver jewelry: a 2017 skull-and-crossbones medal capsule with Tokyo jeweler CORE JEWELS, one in 925 silver and one in 18k gold
- Denim and work jackets, including a zip work jacket
Where it differs
- Silver is an occasional collaboration, not the core: the 2017 CORE JEWELS medals are the only silver we found
- Military influence sits alongside the biker side
- Price vs Chrome Hearts
- Much cheaper like for like. The staple logo zip hoodie is $245 at END. (checked October 2026), against the $550 April 2024 pre-order price of Chrome Hearts' '1988' hoodie. Logo tee $125 and zip work jacket $299.

The skull-and-crossbones label. Maxfield LA describes it as a luxury Japanese brand known for that motif and premium craftsmanship, made in Japan. Founder Masaaki Homma said he wanted to create a skull motif better than any other brand, even by his own criteria, and recalled skull items being best sellers during his time in sales at Yohji Yamamoto.
What it shares
- A signature skull-and-crossbones motif
- Premium positioning and Japanese manufacturing
- Maxfield LA lists Mastermind, and Chrome Hearts is sold at Maxfield Melrose in Los Angeles
Where it differs
- Clothing-led, with a skull-and-crossbones motif where Chrome Hearts' logo is a cross; we found no silver line
- We found no collaboration or business link between the two brands
- Price vs Chrome Hearts
- No like-for-like price. The Will Never Die tee is £447 at HBX, and in a 2011 interview Homma said T-shirts that once sold for about ¥4,000 now sold for about ¥50,000. We found no retail price for a Chrome Hearts tee.
- Best for
- Skull-and-crossbones graphics from a Japanese luxury label, if budget is not the issue.

#3 · $$–$$$
A rock- and goth-leaning label revived by its founder. Takahiro Miyashita announced his return to the creative helm in 2025. The 2026 relaunch's first drop is graphic T-shirts with references to Rimbaud, Patti Smith and Ian Curtis, while the original label's tees carried skull graphics.
What it shares
- Rock and goth reference points: Nirvana, David Bowie and goth subculture appear in the label's work; the original label's tees were famously grungy, with skull graphics
Where it differs
- The relaunch's first drop is graphic T-shirts; we found no silver or leather products from the label
- Ownership is split: Miyashita sold the label to a parent company in 2010, and that company still runs a separate Number (N)ine label; his relaunch is sold as Number (N)ine by Takahiro Miyashita
- Price vs Chrome Hearts
- No like-for-like price. The brand's own shop listed 'BACK, I MISSED YOU.' at $168.80 and 'Ian.' at $270.20, sold out when checked; Highsnobiety reported first-drop T-shirts at ¥22,000–¥35,200. We found no retail price for hoodies, jeans or jackets.
- Best for
- Grunge-rock graphics with a cult Japanese backstory.

END. describes its AW21 collection as heavily bold rock 'n' roll, with patterns from psychedelic spider webs to leopard print. Hypebeast's 2017 profile notes a jewelry line launch, and Firmament Berlin sells a 925 silver Nude Ring crafted in Japan.
What it shares
- END. describes its AW21 collection as leaning into a bold rock 'n' roll aesthetic

- Price vs Chrome Hearts
- Likely cheaper. The UFC heavyweight zip hoodie is £215 regular and £130 on sale at HBX, and the Nude Ring is £160 at HBX (sold out when checked) or €205 at Firmament (€172.27 net plus 19% German VAT; shipping extra). Those are pounds and euros: a £215 hoodie would need an exchange rate above $2.50 to the pound to reach the $550 April 2024 pre-order price of Chrome Hearts' '1988' hoodie.
- Best for
- Rock-and-roll style with a real silver ring at mid-range prices.

A Seoul label drawing on the hip-hop and biker culture of Itaewon, described by Sneaker Freaker as known for punk-tinged, horror-inspired black leather and metal detailing.
What it shares
- Draws on the hip-hop and biker culture of Itaewon; studs, which HBX compares to the armor worn by medieval knights

Where it differs
- Metal hardware and studs; the only silver we found is shimmering silver branding on a Thug Club x adidas mule
- Streetwear cuts and graphics rather than craft jewelry
- Price vs Chrome Hearts
- Mixed. END. lists a Two Face Dirt hoodie at $355, below the $550 April 2024 pre-order price of Chrome Hearts' '1988' hoodie, but ripped skull-stitch denim at $679 and an MA-1 jacket at $885.

- Hand-finished denim and leather jackets as foundations
Where it differs
- Clothing-first rather than silver-first
- Italian group OTB took a minority stake; Chrome Hearts remains Stark-family controlled
- Price vs Chrome Hearts

For the silver itself: independent makers
If you want the silver and leather, the closest alternatives are not streetwear labels. These independent makers work in the same craft tradition. We could not find reputable press that directly compares most of them to Chrome Hearts; the exception is LONE ONES, which Houyhnhnm links to Chrome Hearts because its founder was one of Chrome Hearts' founding members. We list them on our own judgement of style and craft, and each price is a single snapshot from the maker's site or press.
-
LONE ONES
Est. 1996Houyhnhnm says LONE ONES is a jewelry brand founded in 1996 by Leonard Camfort, one of the founding members of Chrome Hearts (the article also spells the surname Kamhout). It uses sterling silver (SV925) and 22k gold for pendants, bracelets, cuffs and rings.

Bill Wall Leather
Malibu, CaliforniaSilver and gold jewelry (bracelets, rings, charms, pendants, buckles) alongside leather belts, jackets, wallets, vests and moto seats. Its site shows 'Handmade in Malibu California' under silver and leather, and Houyhnhnm says it is said to be the originator of silver jewelry for men.

A note on dupes and replicas
We don't list replicas. Chrome Hearts held more than 225 US trademark registrations in 2021 and said in 2023 it had filed more than 100 lawsuits against infringers. A lawsuit reported in May 2026 accuses Rich LA of selling products it describes as identical or confusingly similar to its designs.
If you buy Chrome Hearts second-hand, authentication services exist; one, Fake Busters, set a starting price of ¥6,600 (about $58) for its service in 2022. A genuine alternative is a different brand with its own designs; the brands above are chosen on that basis.
Frequently asked questions
What are the best brands like Chrome Hearts?
In our assessment, NEIGHBORHOOD, Mastermind Japan, Number (N)ine and WACKO MARIA come closest in look. For silver jewelry specifically, independent makers such as LONE ONES and Bill Wall Leather are closer than any streetwear label.
Are there cheaper brands like Chrome Hearts?
Yes, on like-for-like pieces. A NEIGHBORHOOD zip hoodie is $245, a Hellstar Studios zip hoodie with a $300 retail price on StockX and a Thug Club hoodie $355, against the $550 April 2024 pre-order price of Chrome Hearts' '1988' hoodie. Every Pleasures price we found is under $140, and WACKO MARIA's UFC zip hoodie is £215 regular or £130 on sale, in pounds, so convert before comparing. Gallery Dept.'s hoodies start at $650, above that price. For Amiri, Mastermind Japan, Number (N)ine and Saint Michael we found no like-for-like price.
Why is Chrome Hearts so expensive?
We found no published pricing rationale from Chrome Hearts, and no source that explains how it sets prices. What the sources show: most production is centred in Hollywood, and stock is very limited, with appointment-only boutiques and a handful of online drops a year.
Is there a Chrome Hearts dupe?
We don't list replicas. Chrome Hearts reports pursuing infringers. We found no brand on this page that sells Chrome Hearts designs.
Who owns Chrome Hearts?
It is a private company co-owned by Richard Stark and Laurie Lynn Stark. The Fashion Law reported, citing WWD, that a 10 percent stake was sold to a private equity firm in 2019.
Does Chrome Hearts sell online?
In a limited way. Online drops happen a handful of times a year, and a hoodie was a web-store pre-order in 2024.
How we chose these brands
We started from the directory's 136 brands and shortlisted ten whose look, materials or reputation overlap with Chrome Hearts, then added independent makers for the jewelry. Facts such as founding, materials, ownership and prices come from the numbered sources below. Each was opened and checked on 8 October 2026, and a second, independent pass re-checked every claim against its source before publication. Rankings, 'what it shares' and 'best for' are our editorial judgement: no reputable source we found compares most of these brands to Chrome Hearts directly. Price comparisons are like for like only where we found a comparable Chrome Hearts price (a hoodie at $550 on pre-order, denim at $1,750 in 2020); otherwise we say so. Prices are single snapshots from retailers and brand sites and will change.
